Russell Crow is our curious and colourful rooster who has made DRU his forever home. Before his life at the sanctuary, Russell Crow had no other chicken friends and his previous owners could no longer care for him. He was brought to our attention after it was suggested that he was going to be euthanized and we were more than happy to take him under our 'wing'.

During his life with us, Russell Crow had an eye injury, needing surgery to remove it. Although he only has one eye, he is still a strong, independent rooster who loves a cuddle and the occasional dust bath. He enjoys running around the coop with all his chicken friends and we are pleased to say he is far from lonely at the sanctuary.
