Meet our beautiful family of rescued broilers. These cheeky babies have been rescued from slaughter.                                                                      

Broilers only usually live to the age of six months due to being genetically modified but are usually sent to slaughter at the very young age of 40 to 60 days old.

 

We got into contact with a local farm and asked if they would be willing to hand over some of their chickens so that we could give them a life that they deserve, with love and freedom.

We love having our babies at the sanctuary and being able to educate the public on where some of our ‘food’ comes from.
