SOLIDER RUSHED TO EMERGENCY.
One of our beautiful senior boys, Solider, has been rushed to emergency vetting with signs of colic.
Our sick boy made his way up to our critical care unit where Kate was sitting a tried to get her attention. Alarm bells went off as soon as Kate went to check he was ok.

Presenting a very swollen belly, groaning and very lethargic our Horse Rescue unit jumped into action. Emergency vets rushed to the sanctuary and drained 20 liters of fluid from Soldiers belly, an unusually large and worrying volume for one horse.
Our emergency response team noted Soldiers condition worsened after the draining of the fluid, so the decision was made to float him to emergency vetting where Soldier is receiving critical care.
Our sanctuary is suffering tremendously with the after effects of COVID & multiple emergencies. We desperately need assistance financially to pay our medical bills.
Please dig deep and help us today. We need your help to get through this more than ever.
